Our Company

Juliann Eskite created her company, Juno’s Garden® after years of skin problems from using harsh chemical based skin-care products. One of the worst culprits was the dog shampoo she used on her canine companions, Soleil and Guinness. Both Juliann and her dogs were looking for a healthy alternative!

An avid gardener, Juliann decided to create her own skin-care solutions, starting first with creams for her own use and then tackling her dog’s sensitive, dry skin. As Guinness, (her Aussie Shepherd), foraged through the fragrant mix of Lavender, Rosemary and Lemon Verbena that grew in her garden, Juliann realized that nature’s botanical solutions smelled great on dogs and had powerful healing benefits as well.

 “ I loved the results I could achieve from using simple essential oils, herbs and aromatherapy

with my animals to solve their skin-care needs. Soon, my natural solutions gave birth to

a business full of love and a garden full of fresh healing herbs and flowers! ”

 In 2004, Eskite launched Juno’s Garden in her hometown of Pacifica, CA, with her core brand called Pal Dog® . Starting with pure and simple organic dog shampoos and bath sprays, her company soon began to produce solutions for dry, itchy, allergy prone skin, hot spots, paw abrasions, wound relief, ear infections and flea prevention. In 2007, the company branched off from its predominantly “dog” oriented products to launch Pal Kitty®, an organic coat and skin-care line for cats.

Following this path, Juno’s Garden created gentle, pet-friendly products that are free of Petroleum, SLS, DEA, dyes and parabens. Using combinations of effective essential oils and herbs, her botanical blends contain common names such as . . Aloe Vera, Arnica, Calendula, Chamomile, Geranium, Lemon Verbena, Marshmallow, Peppermint, Rosemary and St. John’s Wort.

This practice of using natural herbs and oils to promote healing has been in use for thousands of years.  The company’s formulas and packaging are also eco-friendly. With recyclable packaging and biodegradable formulas that can be used outdoors, Juno’s Garden has created a line that is safe for use around children, pets and in our households.
